Silvia Buturca

Founder & EC Funding Expert and Auditor

Silvia Buțurcă is an EU funding consultant and auditor specialized in Horizon Europe, H2020 and other European Commission funding programmes. With extensive experience auditing EU-funded projects directly for the European Commission, she helps beneficiaries navigate the financial side of their grants with confidence.
Her work centres on cost eligibility and compliance. Through in-depth knowledge of European Commission regulations, Silvia assesses whether declared costs meet grant requirements, identifies risks early, and gives beneficiaries clear certainty on what is and isn't eligible.
Silvia supports the full post-award phase of a project: from financial management and reporting through to preparing Certificate on Financial Statements (CFS) audit reports under ISRS 4400. Alongside her advisory and audit work, she translates complex EU grant rules into practical training, giving project teams the knowledge they need to manage EU-funded projects on their own.
